Q: Does my exam need to be proctored?
A: Exam proctoring requirement vary by state. Please review your state’s proctoring requirements here.
Q: Can I log out of the exam to review course material while I am taking the test?
A: No. The exam is set up so that once you log into the exam you will need to complete it. If you log out or leave the exam sit idle for too long, you will not be able to submit your exam and you may lose your work.
Q: How many times can I take the exam?
A: The system is set up to allow you to take the exam an unlimited number of times. Please be aware that some states allow for only one retake. If you're state only allows for one retake, any exams beyond the second will not be valid for insurance continuing education.
Q: What if I do not pass on the first try?
A: If you do not pass on the first try, scroll down to the bottom of the exam and click the "Retake Exam" button in the lower, right-hand corner.
If you exit the exam, it will automatically reset for the next time you log in.
If you are having trouble resetting your exam, please email online support. Include your first and last name, along with the exam information.
Q: Why am I unable to submit my exam?
A: If you let the exam sit idle for too long, it may have timed out. You will need to exit the exam, by clicking on "My Courses" and select the exam title again.
Important!! You can save your answers by printing out the test (highlight test and print) to have the answers ready when you retake your exam.
Q: I passed my exam, now what?
A: If your state requires an affidavit, you will need to fill out, sign and fax in the affidavit to Quest at 262-432-0448. Please make sure you & your exam monitor sign the document.
